The Britomart Centre is the hub of Auckland’s Public Transport system – ferries, buses, and trains.

The building itself is the old Auckland Chief Post Office (CPO). I don’t know why they couldn’t have a GPO like everyone else, but that’s Kiwis for you I guess. There is more information and photos on the Auckland City Website

Brisbane By Night

Another one for the Brisbane Collection.  This is the Captain Cook Bridge at night from the Riverview Tce Lookouts with Southbank behind.

The Lookouts are on top of the Kangaroo Point cliffs.  This, and the view back into the city, has got to be well worth a small diversion.

Although I’m not sure that this does the view justice.  I will have to try to scan some of the photo’s that I took at the same time and put them up.

Life as an international jet-setter is tough!  So much for Brisbane – we are now in Auckland, New Zealand.  Two hours in front of Australia, time wise; I won’t say anything about how many years behind.
This is the view from the apartment window that I have at the moment..
